Discord bot
Wyvern Bot privacy.
What information the bot uses, why it uses it, and the choices available to you.About this policy
Wyvern operates Wyvern Bot for the Wyvern Discord community. It provides product support, conversation, requested message summaries, web research, license verification, and community commands. This policy explains how information is used for those features.
Information we use
In enabled server channels, the bot processes message text and relevant context, which may include display names, Discord identifiers, timestamps, and role or permission information. This includes some messages that do not mention the bot, such as support questions and conversational follow-ups.
When requested, it can read messages and announcements it is permitted to access, including messages from a specified time period. The AI does not process direct messages or download attachments.
License and community commands also use information needed to provide those services, including account identifiers, license keys you submit, balances, and command activity. Preferences and service usage or diagnostic records help operate the bot.
AI and search services
Relevant messages and context are sent through OpenRouter to an AI model provider to generate responses. Public information requests may also send a search query to DuckDuckGo. Information used by these services is processed outside Discord. Submitted license details are checked with the relevant verification service.
We use Discord information to provide responses and bot features, not to train or fine-tune AI models. External services may retain information under their own policies and settings. See OpenRouter's data collection and provider privacy information.
How long we keep it
Conversation context is held temporarily in memory. The application does not save raw chat transcripts to its own permanent storage or logs. Messages posted in Discord remain subject to Discord and server controls.
Account, license, community, settings, and service records may be retained longer. These records do not have a single automatic expiry period. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion.
Online status
The bot displays Discord's approximate online-member count. If individual presence access is enabled, it can use members' current visible status to answer relevant questions, including through the AI provider. This information is held in memory; the bot does not keep historical activity timelines. There is currently no complete individual opt-out from that presence processing.
Your choices
Use /ai quiet to pause replies to you and use of your messages as AI context for 30 minutes. /ai resume or a new explicit mention ends the pause early. This is a temporary control, not a permanent opt-out or deletion of your records. It cannot recall information already sent to external services or erase previous Discord replies.
Server administrators can disable AI features in channels and restrict requested history access.
Contact
For privacy questions or access, correction, deletion, or continued-processing requests, contact Wyvern support or open a ticket in our Discord server. Our contact page also lists these channels. We may need to verify your account. Do not share license keys publicly.
